Adventure 1

Bomas of Kenya
After church today all of the volunteers seemed to have plans with other people but I didn’t want to waste my day so I decided to go on a wee adventure :) I got one of those scary buses called matatus but they are actually not scary there fun!! We had the tunes cranked up and it cost 5p to go to this place which is more outside Nairobi called Bomas of Kenya. This was amazing!! I got to walk round all of these old tribe village houses! There were so many! And so many different ones! I loved it! My feet are killing now though! So much walking! :P Then I got to go to see this show which gives a 2 hr presentation of traditional dances! They had so many cool outfits because they had all the tribal wear and it was like each dance had a meaning which I read about in the wee programme. The end was amazing coz it had this group called the Mambo Jambo Acrobats! They were amazing! Got lots of videos! Can’t upload them for some reason though so that’s going to be something exciting for me to show you when I get home :) This place was beautiful; it’s like being in the lion king!! Haha. I saw a baby Rhino wander through the car park. I took a video then ran away haha coz I didn’t want to get too close! :P
